Following the official announcement of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Results by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, the details and identities of the highest scorers in the examination has been revealed. The names of the candidates were made known by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyode.
As disclosed by the JAMB Boss, Prof Ishaq Oloyode, the highest score was from, 15 year old Ekene Franklin from Abia State with UTME score of 347. The JAMB Registrar however stated that the young boy will not be admitted by his school of choice; UNILAG due to the fact that he is not up to the required 16 years of age.
The 2nd highest score was from 16 year old Igban Emmanuel Chidiebube, also from Abia State with UTME Score of 346 while 17 year old Oluwo Isaac Olamilekan Oloyode from Osun State came 3rd with UTME Score of 345.
Oloyode however did not reveal the the intended courses of the best performing students.
