JAMB admission deadline for 2022/2023 session

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) earlier announced the deadline for admission exercise into the various tertiary institutions for the 2022/2023 academic session. The announcement was initially made after the decision was reached at the JAMB 2022 policy meeting.

After a robust and insightful deliberation at the meeting, members collectively agreed that all admissions for 2022/2023 session should be concluded by December 31st, 2022. However, from the look of things and according to the information we received from one of the schools, the admission deadline has been extended to end of February, 2023.

This means that tertiary institutions are expected to complete their admission processes and release all admission lists on or before January 31st, 2023.

We do not know if there will be any change concerning the dates at the moment, however, the chosen deadlines remained sacrosanct and binding on all institutions as the Board would not tolerate any breaches.

Candidates who have already been offered admission are also advised to ensure they accept their admission as soon as possible because there is also deadline for the acceptance of admission on JAMB CAPS. At the moment we cannot tell when the deadline on acceptance of admission will be. However, once we receive update concerning that, we will let you know.
