The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed the number of candidates to sit for the 2020 JAMB mock exam. It was also disclosed that about 64 computer-based centres across the country will be used for the mock examination.
According to JAMB, about 350,000 registered candidates for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified to take the mock exam.
The JAMB Registrar Mr Oloyede made this known in Abuja on Monday during the commissioning of the N230million Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) of JAMB.
Mr Oloyede noted that there will be no extension of the registration deadline, adding that over 1.9 million candidates have already registered for the UTME examination, while ‘200,000 registered for direct entry’.
The Main UTME examination will be held between March 14 and April 4.
