KASU Academic Calendar For 2019/2020 Session

The Kaduna State University, KASU has published the approved Undergraduate academic calendar for the 1st semester of  2019/2020 academic session. All students of the university are hereby informed that academic activities will run as shown below;

FIRST SEMESTER

• Registration for all Fresh and Returning Students – 25th November to 6th December, 2019 (2 Weeks)
• Lectures for all Students – 9th to 20th December, 2019 (2 Weeks)
• Mid-Semester Break – 23rd December to 3rd January, 2020 (2 Weeks)
• Lectures for all Students – 6th January to 20th March, 2020 (11 Weeks)
• First Semester Add/Drop Registration – 27th to 31st January, 2020 (1 Week)
• Release of Continuous Assessment Results – 9th to 13th March, 2020 (1 Week)
• First Semester Examination – 23rd March to 10th April, 2020 (3 Weeks)
• Marking, Processing & Consideration of Results by Departments – 13th to 23rd April, 2020 (2 Weeks)
• Faculty Examination Ethics Committee Meeting (1st, 2nd & 3rd Meetings) – 13th to 17th April, 2020 (1 Week)
• Central Examination Ethics Committee Meeting (1st, 2nd & 3rd Meetings) – 20th to 24th April, 2020
• Consideration of Results by Faculties – 27th & 28th April, 2020
• Release of Result – 29th April, 2020
• Consideration of Results by Senate – 30th April, 2020
• First Semester Break – 13th April to 1st May, 2020 (3 Weeks)

NOTE: The above calendar of activities run concurrently in all the campuses {Kafachan and Kaduna Campus}
