JAMB gives update as registration ends, reveals number of candidates for mock exam

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that around over 1.9 million candidates have been registered as the 2024 UTME registration comes to an end. The registration which began January 15th, 2024 finally came to an end February 26th, 2024. This information was provided in the board’s weekly bulletin.

JAMB also revealed that out of the almost two million candidates that have been registered, a total of 260, 249 candidates have indicated interest to sit for its mock examination which will hold March 7th, 2024.

Candidates who have indicated interest to take part in the mock exam are required to print their mock notification slips as from Tuesday, February 27th. The slips contain details such as the candidate’s registration number, examination venue, date, and time, along with additional instructions.

The board emphasized that candidates are to take note of these details as they are necessary for their participation in the examination. Furthermore, JAMB stated that candidates have the flexibility to print the slips from any location with convenient internet access.
