JAMB announces states with highest number & lowest number of registered candidates

JAMB has diclosed the number of candidates that were registered for the 2024 JAMB exam in each of the 36 states in the country. This was contained in the JAMB’s official bulletin. According to JAMB, Oyo State has the highest number of registered candidates followed by Ogun State. Both had 123,636 and 114,435 registered candidates respectively. The states with the lowest numver of registerd candidates are  Zamfara and FCT Abuja having 9,473 and 8,020 respectively.

A total of 1,985,642 candidates were registered for the 2024 UTME with 980,419 male candidates and 1,00,5223 female candidates. 2,026 PLWDs candidates and 139 foreign candidates were also registered.

The admission will be quite competitive. So one thing that will give you an edge is a very good JAMB score. Remember, the JAMB exam comes up April 19th and ends April 29th.
