The Abia State University, ABSU 2016/2017 2nd Semester Revised Academic Calendar has been made available by the school management.

According to the academic calendar, 2nd semester resumes April 1st, 2017. Registration and fee payment begins 3rd April, 2017. Lectures begin April 10th, 2017.

Students are to note that Easter break begins April 14th, 2017 and ends on April 21st , 2017 (1 week).

Friday, 4^th             Lectures for Second Semester 2016/2017 Session end.

Monday, 7^th          Revision classes begin.

Friday, 11^th          Revision classes end.

Monday, 14^th        Second Semester 2016/2017 Examinations commence.

September, 2017

Friday, 8^th             Second Semester, 2016/2017 Examinations end.

Saturday, 9^th                   Students proceed on end-of-session vacation
