ATBU 2016/2017 Returning Students’ Registration Guidelines -See Details

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Nigeria, ATBU 2016/2017 Returning Students’ registration guidelines have been published by the school’s management.

All returning students are to follows the instructions below to complete their registration process for 2016/2017 academic session.


a) Students are to proceed to the University’s website via and click on “MY DASHBOARD” and proceed to generate RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference), You Username should be your matriculation number.  for students moving from 100 level to 200 level and direct entry students moving to 300 level, you are to  proceed to pay the sum of Twenty One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira only (N21, 750.00). This payment covers you registration fees. For students in other levels, you are to pay the sum of Fourteen Thousand  Seven Hundred Naira only (N14,700.00) as registration fees.

For students going for six (6) months Industrial training, (IT) are to pay  Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Naira only (N14,700.00) as registration fees while students who will be having their industrial training all through the session pay Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only (N2,500.00) as registration fees.

Please ensure you generate the RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) only from the university’s official website: or else your payment will not be valid..

b) return to the website after you have made your payment to register your courses online as approved by your department. You will find the courses displayed on the left hand side of the course registration page or you can click on the departmental page under your Faculty to access the approved courses. After submission, ensure you print the acknowledgement slip for reference purposes.

c) Female students and Final Year Male students who wish to stay in the school’s hostel are to apply for it via this link: Use your Matriculation Number as your Username to generate a REMITA of Five Thousand Ninety Naira only (N5, 090.00) which is the Accommodation Fee . Proceed to make payment either electronically via ATM card or through any of the designated Commercial Banks.

Allocation of bed space will be made automatically after payment.

Return to the website to download the your Clearance Slip and proceed to the Student Affairs Division for Documentation.

NOTE: After booking for accommodation, you are to make payment within the next 48 hours or your accommodation booking will be rendered invalid.
