Ekiti State University, EKSU Post-UTME/DE Screening Form Out – 2026/2027

This is to inform all the United Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and DIRECT ENTRY (DE) candidates who have applied for admission into Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) for the 2026 2027 Admission Exercise, that the Post UTME screening exercise will commence from Friday, 3rd July, 2026 (Please, note that there will be no examination).

The University will still consider UTME candidates who did not choose EKSU initially but scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME, and are ready to change their Institutions of first choice to EKSU on the JAMB CAPS. Ekiti State University (EKSU) will give concession to successful students from its Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programme, in keeping with Senate approved.

Candidates who are awaiting the results of their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) already and apply for the FUTME screening exercise. They are to apply as soon as the results of the examinations are released.

The University’s minimum UTME score for Computer Science, Engineering Programme, Medical Biochemistry is 180 while minimum UTME score for Mass Communication, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Science, Pharmacy, Law and Medicine (MBBS) are 200, 220, 230, 240, 250 and 200 respectively.

Candidates who have lowest score in any of the abovementioned courses may apply for FUTME screening into other courses of their choice and effect the change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission. Please, read the ESSU decrets JAMB Brochures of Portalh’s staff NOT JAMB for admission.

ELIGIBILITY

EKSU will admit only candidates who made EKSU as first Choice in JAMB/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subject, 3O NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) SITTINGS (Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit from Polytechnic for Engineering programmes and Lower Credit for other programmes).

Other requirements for Direct Entry include a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in related programmes for NUBS and Law. For Nursing Science, the candidate must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse (RN) and NCE with Credit/Merit in relevant teaching subjects for Education programme).

Direct entry candidates who are interested in changing their first choice of institution to EKSU may also be considered. Direct Entry candidates should send their transcripts via this e-mail address. [email protected] on or before 31st July, 2026 failing which their application for admission will not be considered.

UTME Candidates with NECO results should submit their “Result Verification Tokens” at the Admissions Office for verification of their ‘O’ Level Results, while candidates without result verification tokens should visit NECO websites using a carnereo to acambmao and input the email address. In addition, any false information uploaded by the candidate will lead to automatic disqualification.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CANDIDATES

1. To apply for 2026/2027 UTME/DE, go to eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng, click on ADMISSION, you will be directed to the online application portal.

2. Sign up’ by providing the required details to create an account, MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR ACTIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS AND PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER. A verification email will be sent to you.

3. After successful sign up, click LOGIN to log on to your dashboard, applicants are to login using their CORRECT E-mail address or JAMB registration number as username and enter your password provided while signing up.

4. On your dashboard, select the type of application (2026 2027 FUTME application). The next page requires inputting applicant’s JAMB Registration Number (UTME). For applicants who chose EKSU, their information will be populated automatically and they are processed to fill in their other details. Applicants who did not register EKSU as first Choice will have to fill in all their correct details else shortlisted is then JAMB Erratuation Number on the form page.

5. The next page requires PAYMENT FOR THE FUTME SCREENING FORM, click on PAY NOW to redirect you to online payment.

6. On successful payment, the application form will be opened, don’t just a 1″ x 1″ coloured passport photograph with red background as JPEG format only, on the form page.

7. Upload details of your “O’Level result(s) obtained or witnesses taken into (2) sittings in the following examination, WAEC/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, etc. After completing the shown process, click submit, validate and print out the completed screening form.
