JAMB has released a breakdown of how students performed in the 2025 exam. According to the information by JAMB, 4,756 candidates scored 320 and above. 7,658 candidates scored 300 – 319. 73, 441 candidates scored 250 – 299 while 334,560 candidates scored 200 – 249. Among those who sat for the exam, 40,247 underage candidates were allowed to take part to demonstrate their exceptional abilities. Out of this number, only 467 candidates (1.16%) scored high enough to meet JAMB’s benchmark for outstanding performance. Their results in the subsequent three stages are still being reviewed.

Some others had biometric issues and are also being investigated. Those who are cleared will be allowed to write their exams later at approved centres.

A few results  including those of blind candidates and others under special categories are still being processed. JAMB will hold a press conference later this week to announce how candidates can check their results.
