LASU Indegeneship Verification for 2025 Post-UTME & admission exercise

All Candidates of Lagos State Origin who chose Lagos State University as First Choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination [UTME] and scored a minimum of 195 are hereby informed that the registration for Indigeneship Verification Exercise for the 2025/2026 Admission Exercise will commence from Monday, 26th May, 2025 and close on Thursday, 19th June, 2025 as scheduled below:

Phase 1: Monday, 26th May 2025 – Thursday, 29th May 2025
Phase 2: Monday, 2nd June 2025 – Thursday, 5th June 2025
Phase 3: Monday, 9th June 2025 – Thursday, 12th June 2025
Phase 4: Monday, 16th June 2025 – Thursday, 19th June 2025

The Verification Interview is scheduled to hold from Monday, 26th May, 2025 at the following venues:

Ikeja Division:   Sociology Class, Opposite University Health Centre
Badagry Division:  New TETFund Building, Faculty of Education
Ikorodu Division: Law Clinic, Faculty of Law
Lagos Division: International Business Class, MBA Building
Epe Division:  School of Transport and Logistics

Please NOTE that the Indigeneship Verification Exercise does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into the Lagos State University.

Method of Application

  • 1. Obtain the online IIVC application form online via this link: https://lasu.edu.ng/iive/
  • 2. Get your documents IIVC interview
  • 3.  Proceed to the Lagos state university for interview
  • 4.  After the successful interview, you will be issued a cleared card that you have successfully passed the interview
  • 5.  Await the general admission screening form, and apply online when the form is out

Requirements for the IIVC interview 

  • 1.  IIVC manual form
  • 2.  LASU receipt of IIVC payment
  • 3.  Online data form
  • 4.  UTME form showing choice of institution with UTME result
  • 5.  O’level result
  • 6.  Two passport photographs
  • 7.  Applicants birth certificate
  • 8.  Father/Mother’s birth certificate
  • 9.  Letter from Oba(not Baale) of applicant’s town of origin
  • 10.  Letter from the chairman of the applicant’s Local government of origin

NOTE: Indigene must participate in the interview to be eligible for the general screening
