UNILAG DLI Degree Admission Form Out – 2024/2025

We would like to inform the general public that application forms into the Distance Learning Institute (DLI), University of Lagos 2024/2025 academic session is currently available.

Application Form for University of Lagos Distance Learning Institute 2024/2025 academic session into

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
• Bachelor of Science in Economics
• Bachelor of Science (Education) in Mathematics
• Bachelor of Science (Education) in Physics
• Bachelor of Science (Education) in Economics
• Bachelor of Science (Education) in Early Childhood Education
• Bachelor of Arts (Education) in English
• Bachelor of Science (Education) in Business Studies

  GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

                The following candidates are eligible to apply:

Graduates of University of Lagos or any other University recognised by Senate with Degrees in                 relevant disciplines.

Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) or National Diploma (ND) or National Certificate in      Education (NCE) in the relevant disciplines.

Holders of recognised relevant full professional qualifications particularly ACA, ANAN, ACCA,      ACMA, ACIA, ACIS, ACIB and CII may be considered for admission at enhanced level provided               they have five credits at WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (‘O’ Level) or its equivalent, which must            include English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any other two (2) relevant subjects at not            more than two (2) sittings.

Holders of WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (‘O’ Level) or its equivalent with credit in five (5) subjects   including English Language, Mathematics plus any other three (3) relevant subjects at not               more than two (2) sittings.

NOTE:   (a) Point of entry for candidates in categories 2.1 to 2.3 will depend on details of their transcripts              and such candidates must also satisfy the WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (‘O’ Level) or its equivalent as     stated in 2.4 above.

(b) Applicants are to ensure all examination numbers and certificates of WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO “O” Level or its equivalent are inputted and uploaded on the portal.

(c) Applicants into year two (2) and year (3) presenting post “O” Level qualifications such as Degrees, HND, NCE, OND and professional qualifications are to send in their Academic Transcripts through the awarding institutions with application number as reference number to:

Guidelines For Filling The Application Form

Applicants are to visit: https://applications.unilag.edu.ng/and follow the steps below;

1. Provide the details in the fields below to obtain a Payment Reference Number. (You will receive an email voucher in the email account provided)
2. Print the payment voucher and take it to any commercial bank in Nigeriabranch of the designated banks stated below:
3. Pay the sum of N17,500.00 (Seventeen Thousand Five Naira) for the Form.
4. After payment, return to Unilag application portal http://applications.unilag.edu.ng, , then click “Continue Application” link, login with Payment Reference Number as username and provide surname in lowercase as password.
5. Click the Edit Application form link to fill the Application form and upload digital passport photograph (jpeg format) which should not be more than 15 kb in size and must be in white background. The acceptable dimension is width: 275 pixels or 35mm, height: 314 pixels or 40mm. (Failure to comply with specified image format may lead to disqualification.)
6. Click “SUBMIT FORM” button if the information is correct, else, click DECLINE button. After submission, applicants will be required to print the completed Application Form and Acknowledgement Slip. Printed copies of the Application Form along with credentials are to be submitted in the respective Departments.
7. Candidates are also required to LAMINATE their Acknowledgment Slip, this will be required for presentation at the entrance examination.

Candidates must upload the under listed documents:   

• Testimonial (Primary or Secondary)
• Birth Certificate/Sworn Affidavit that predates the admissions advertisement
• ‘O’ Level Certificate/All other Qualifications
• NYSC Certificate/NYSC Exemption Certificate (for Direct Entry candidates)
• Marriage Certificate and Newspaper classification (Married female only)
