JAMB had earlier announced that it will take time to analyse all the results before releasing them. Nevertheless, we expect the results to be released by next week. While we wait for JAMB to officially announce the release of the 2025 results, candidates are to note that if they are found to have broken any of the rules below, their results will likely not be released.
The list below captures all infractions that can be termed “Exam Malpractice” and can lead to the seizure of a candidate’s result.
| S/N | CODES | INTERPRETATION OF MALPRACTICE CODES / TYPES / PROHIBITED ITEMS |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | A | No e-Registration Slip |
| 2 | B | Possession of Unauthorized Calculator or similar electronic devices |
| 3 | C | Possession/Spying/Copying unauthorized books or any reading material |
| 4 | D | Impersonation |

This simply means that all UTME candidates must not have been implicated in any of the infractions stated above to be sure of the release of their results.
JAMB has always maintained that once any evidence of malpractice has been established against any candidate, the result of such candidates will be cancelled out-rightly. Similarly, once the board establish any case of infraction or examination malpractice in any centre too, such centre will be shut down and the entire results of candidates in such centres will be cancelled.
