AFIT announces resumption of academic activities

Air Force Institute of Technology, AFIT resumption date/guidelines, and instructions to students for completion of 2019/2020 academic session.

Following the easing of restrictions on movement and academic activities by the Federal Government, the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Kaduna will resume as follows:

All 100 level students of NUC courses (degree), all ND1 students (NBTE) all Pre HND and HND1 students, and ND2 students of Business Administration and Management will resume classes on 12 October 20 while penultimate levels will resume on 23 November 20.

Please note that lectures commence immediately and therefore all students are expected to be in full attendance.

Instructions and guidelines to students

Please note that all students are expected to comply with the following procedures on resumption.
a. All students must wear face masks properly (to cover nose and mouth).
b. All students must subject themselves to temperature checks at designated points.
c. All students must wash their hands and use hand sanitizers intermittently. Please note that each student must have a pocket-size sanitizer at all times.
d. No clustering, shaking of hands or hugging. You must maintain as much social distance as possible.
e. Report any fever, cough or cold immediately to the school authorities.

Remember COVID is real and is still very much with us. Stay safe and help others stay safe.

You must also achieve mandatory class attendance to enable you to write exams.

We welcome all of you from the extended stay and look forward to having you back in school.
