The branches of the union yesterday held a meeting to vote whether the strike should continue or not. It is based on these votes the Executives of the union will decide on whether or not to continue with the strike action.

The President of ASUU, Biodun Ogunyemi when contacted to comment on the development said he will only speak after the executive meeting.

Similarly, some other branch chairmen contacted refused commenting on the decisions reached at their various branch meetings stating that they are not allowed to speak to newsmen on that.
