According to JAMB, candidates with awaiting results are free to register for UTME. However, they should ensure that there result is ready before the Admission exercise of the school they applied to study commences.
During JAMB registration, candidates with results will be allowed to upload their results while candidates with awaiting result will just leave the space empty. This will not in any way disqualify candidates with awaiting results. But they should make sure the result is available before admission into their respective schools begins. This is to give equal chances to all candidates during the UTME registration both those with results and those with awaiting results as no one should be denied the right to quality education.
So if you are a JAMB prospective Candidate hoping to register for UTME using awaiting result, please disregard any information saying that JAMB has scraped awaiting results registration. Go ahead with your registration when the registration finally commences.
At the cbt where I made my registration, I was told that I can’t upload my results, because even if I do, I’ll still have to come back for the upload after sitting for the exam, which means I was registered as awaiting results whereas Ive had my o’level ready before registration and the registrations I’ve made in the past isn’t like this.
He has done it before I realized that, so I asked him and he told me there won’t be problem uploading my results later.
Pls my question is won’t there be problem when uploading my results after sitting for the exam.
