Apply for Federal Government National Award Scholarships – 2024/2025

The Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria invites interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2024/2025 Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA) and Education Bursary Award (EBA) tenable in Nigerian  Public Tertiary Institutions.

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NIGERIAN SCHOLARSHIP AWARD  IS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Applicants for Postgraduate studies should possess a minimum of first degree with Second Class Honours in the Upper Division.  Applicants must be registered Full-Time students of Federal or State Universities.
2. All other applicants (UG & HND ) must be registered full-time students in their second year or above, in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics.  All undergraduate Scholarship applicants including Persons with disabilities must have at least 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a five (5) point scale or 5.0 on a 7 point scale or its equivalent.
3. All  HND applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0

FIELD OF STUDY  TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE AWARD ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. Science and Technology
2. Medicine and Medical Sciences
3. Education
4. Agriculture
5. Liberal Arts/Social/Management Sciences
6. Entrepreneural Studies,
7. Information and Communication Technology
8. Environmental Sciences
9. Law

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE BURSARY AWARD IS AS FOLLOWS:
1.Applicants MUST be  registered students studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education and Universities.

2.Applicants must be full-time students.

3.All applicants including Persons with disabilities must be in their second year or above.

4.A beneficiary of any subsisting scholarship is not eligible.

How To Apply for Federal Government National Award Scholarship:

All qualified candidates are advised to:

1. Visit Federal Ministry of Education portal via; http://fsbn.com.ng/applicants/auth/register/28527
2. Supply a valid email address and password on the “CREATE ACCOUNT” form to register. If you have registered, you can access the application form using the same email and password through the “Log In” form.
3. Please note that you are to fill out and save your information on each of the sections on the form one after the other thereafter submit your application on the last section of the form.
4. You can go back to any of the sections to edit your information and save again as much as may be necessary before the application deadline.
5. Be informed that all asteric ( * ) fields are compulsory.
6. You can navigate through the form using the “section links” on the left side of the form or via the “Previous” and “Next” links on both the top and bottom of the form.
7. After completing the form online
8. Submit and Print a copy

Note that any Double Application will be disqualified!

Attach the following documents 

1. Letter of Admission to the Institution
2. CGPA Result.
3. State of Origin Certificate
