JAMB 2025 Candidates Must Upload Results To be Considered for Admission

For the 2025 admission process, JAMB has made it clear that no candidate will be considered for admission without uploading their O’level results on the official JAMB portal. Whether you applied to university, polytechnic or college of education, uploading your O’level results is a mandatory requirement before your school of choice can process your admission. Failure to complete this step means JAMB will not recommend or approve you for admission, regardless of your UTME score.

This is to ensure that only qualified and eligible candidates are offered admission as JAMB does not want a situation whereby a candidate will be offered admission and later discovered not to have met the O’level requirements for the course he or she applied for.

Candidates who used awaiting results during JAMB registration are to ensure they upload their results immediately after the results have been released as they will only be considered for admission after they have uploaded their results.

As a matter of fact, all candidates whether or not they used awaiting results are advised to ensure they confirm that their O’level result is uploaded  on the JAMB portal. If you are in doubt concerning whether or not your O’level result has been uploaded on the JAMB Portal, it is better you proceed to any approved JAMB CBT centre and upload it or confirm if it has been uploaded.

So the bottom line is this; as long as 2025 admission is concerned, JAMB will only consider candidates who upload their results during registration and awaiting result candidates who are able to upload their results before the admission deadline.

Therefore, all prospective JAMB candidates are advised to ensure their O’level results are uploaded on the JAMB website before the admission deadline of their various schools in order to be considered or recommended for admission.
