There are strong indications that the 2017 UTME registration will soon commence as JAMB has agreed on examination time table with other examination bodies like WAEC, NECO and NABTEB.
Following a meeting held yesterday involving all the examination bodies earlier mentioned, the problem of having examination dates of these examination bodies clashing with one another was resolved.
According to a statement released by Dr Fabian, this development will help solve problems resulting from over lapping if JAMB exam date with that of other examination bodies which usually hinder candidates from sitting for their exams
The statement further revealed that at the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached that starting from 2018, WAEC will create a window of two weeks between March and April to allow JAMB conduct UTME.
It was also agreed that for 2017, JAMB will have to shift its examination to give room to other examination bodies to conduct their examinations. However. other examination bodies have created a 10-day window for JAMB to conduct its UTME.
Following this development, the 2017 UTME and Direct Entry Registrations are expected to commence soon.
