This was disclosed by JAMB’s Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, during a radio programme, “Day break show” in Abeokuta.

He said that the board is thinking of an open book examination where by candidates can take the exam from the comfirt of their homes. Adding that the board will do this once they have the technology.

Commenting on this,aAn ICT expert, Damilola Oyeshola, said the challenge of IT infrastructure in the country would make the idea of candidates taking the exam from their bhoimes difficult to implement.

On the issue of results, Dr fabian mentioned that once a candidates clicks “Submit” after the exam, the result for that candidate is ready. However, JAMB will have to delay the release so that the results will be previewed before releasing to avoid cancellation of results later.
