Are you among the candidates having issues or problems checking their results? If you have been unable to see your 2026 JAMB result, this post is for you. You must know that at this time, the only method JAMB has provided for candidates to check their results is the Text/SMS method. However, we believe that they are already aware that some candidates are unable to check their results using that method.
We cannot tell at the moment if JAMB will make provision for such candidates to either check results via the board’s website with their registration numbers or the candidates’ profiles. If you are not able to check your result via the SMS method, check the solutions we provided below and make sure you ae doing it right.

Solution To Result Checking Issues
1. Ensure the Phone number you are using to send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 is the one you used in creating your profile code during registration. If you have lost the Phone number or SIM and do not mind the stress of going through the SIM retrieval process, you can go ahead to retrieve the line and then use it to send the message.
2. Ensure the format of the SMS is UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019. Note that the result must be in capital letter and it must be spelled “UTMERESULT” and NOT “UTMERESULTS”. Also, there should be no space between UTME and RESULT. It should be sent as one word “UTMERESULT”
3. It could also be that some of the results of a specific day have not been released. JAMB may delay the release of some of the results for some reasons like malpractice, late coming etc Also if there is a widespread irregularity in an exam centre, JAMB may also decide to delay the release of the results in that centre until the issues are sorted out.
4. Some of the issues can equally be a result of a bad network; depending on the network you are using there may be technical hitches that may be resolved with time. Airtel subscribers seems to be having poor network issues at the moment. So we advise candidates to give it a little time and try again.
Meanwhile, we are going to monitor and see if JAMB will enable their portal so that candidates can easily check their results online via the JAMB portal.
I have being checking my results for five day now after I wrote it on Friday but still now i have not seen my results,I don’t know what to do again every time ,I will send SMS two time every day and their still repeating the same statement, your request have been received
