The total number of registered candidates for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been announced by JAMB.
According to the JAMB’s Head of Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin over 1.8 million candidates registered for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Dr Fabian said that PIN Vending for the registration ended on February 21st, 2019 but candidates who already purchased the PIN were allowed to still access the registration portal.
He however added that the registration portal finally closed 12 midnight, February 25th, 2019; indicating that registration for 2019 UTME has been concluded.
Benjamin said that the registration was a huge success, adding that there were no hitches at all across the various accredited registration centres nationwide.
