JAMB official dates for 2026 UTME registration, mock, and main exam

JAMB has announced the date for the commencement of the 2026 JAMB UTME/DE registration. The dates for the mock, main exam have also been announced. This was contain in the official JAMB Registration document. For candidates who may have missed it, we have decided to provide all the important dates below;

JAMB Registration Date and closing date
According to JAMB, the sales of registration PIN will begin January 19th, 2026 and close February 26th, 2026 while the UTME registration will begin January 26th and end February 28th, 2026.

JAMB Mock Date
The JAMB mock will hold 28th March, 2026. candidates who wants to write the JAMB mock are to ensure they register for the JAMB exam on or before February 16th, 2026 and indicate their interest to write the mock during the registration at the CBT centre.

JAMB Main exam date
The main exam will start on 16th April, 2026 and end on 25th April, 2026. The centre/venue of the examination would be at any of the centres in the candidate’s chosen examination town. JAMB Registration cost/fee
There would be four categories of registration forms (e-PINs) for the exercise depending on the interest and financial capability of individual candidates. Candidates are required to specify the type of e-PIN they require at the point of purchase of their UTME application documents as there would be no refund after purchase. The four categories of registration form and their cost are as follows

a. . JAMB UTME registration with Mock: This is for candidates who want to register for JAMB and take the mock exam as well before the main exam. The cost is Eight thousand, seven hundred naira (₦8, 700)

b. JAMB UTME without Mock: This is for candidates who wants to register for the JAMB exam but do NOT want to take the mock exam. The cost is Seven thousand, two hundred naira (₦7, 200)
