JAMB 2026 exam and admission will be very competitive, how well are you preparing?

JAMB main exams will begin 16th April. For all prospective UTME candidates who will be taking part in the 2026 JAMB exam, the main thing you should be concerned about would be how to ensure you pass the main exam excellently well.

Close to 2 million candidates will participate in the 2026 JAMB exam. This means that just like in previous years, the admission will be quite competitive. Use JAMB Syllabus and other Study material: The Syllabus shows you the topics that you are expected to cover in each subject and helps you determine if you have adequately covered all the topics and reading requirements for a particular subject. 2. Practice JAMB Past questions frequently: The truth is there are no new questions. Just old questions presented in a new way. JAMB keeps recycling questions every year but in different ways. 3. Test Yourself With the First Class Learners Mock Challenge: We have added a mock challenge on the First Class Learners app. The mock challenge holds every Saturday by 7:00pm. It is an opportunity for candidates preparing for the JAMB exam to test themselves, compete with other JAMB candidates and know how well they can perform in the main exam. 4. Get familiar with the JAMB CBT environment: One of the things that will give you an edge especially if you will be writing the JAMB exam for the first time is understanding the JAMB CBT environment and how to navigate through it.
