The application for the LONG Empowerment Foundation Scholars Program which seeks to offer Tertiary Education Scholarship to Nigerian students from low-income families has commenced.
The scholarship is designed to support students from low-income families who have secured admission into accredited Nigerian institutions offering National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s Degree programs.
Scholarship Value: Successful applicants will receive up to ₦350,000 per academic year, covering Tuition, Accommodation, Living stipends, Exam fees, Books and learning materials. the scholarship is renewable based on academic performance and financial need
Eligibility: Interested applicants are to meet the requirements below;
- You are aged 16–26 years at the time of application
- You have secured admission into an accredited Nigerian university
- As a continuing students you have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of second class upper i.e, 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 or its equivalent.
- As a new student you present proof of admission, which includes a signed admission and acceptance letter, a copy of WAEC results with a minimum of 5 credits, and copy of JAMB result with a minimum score of 200.
- You are and you are able to provide evidence of financial need through your parent’s bank statements, or a recommendation from your school’s bursar, another registered scholarship giving organization you’ve benefited from or a member of our serving Board of Trustees.
- You demonstrate leadership potential and community involvement

Note:
- Please note that this scholarship is specifically for students whose parents and guardians earns less than N3,000,000 (Three million naira)
