The University of Ottawa, Canada is offering scholarships to students from outside the country of Canada who wish to enroll in one of the specified undergraduate programs in the faculties of Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences or the Telfer School of Management. Eligible students are automatically considered upon admission, with the scholarship applied directly toward tuition fees. Scholarship Value: The entrance and excellence scholarship will provide incoming students with a four-year scholarship worth up to $70,000 to cover the partial cost of their university tuition.

Eligibility: The applicant must:

1. Be an international student with a valid study permit.
2. Be newly admitted for the Winter 2026 term or later in an approved English-language undergraduate program in one of the following faculties: Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences or the Telfer School of Management.
3. Have a minimum admission average of 80%.
4. Not enroll in the French immersion stream.
5. Be enrolled full-time.

How to Apply for the University of Ottawa, Canada Entrance & Excellence Scholarship:

• First, the student has to create an account via this link: https://www.ouac.on.ca/apply/undergraduate/en_CA/user/create  Take note of your username and password and keep them in a safe place. You need it any time you want to login into the application portal and complete your application
• After you have logged in, complete all sections of the application.
• Review your program selections before clicking “I Verify and Agree”.
• Submit your application before the program deadline.
• Take note of your OUAC Reference Number and keep it in a safe place. You must refer to this number whenever you contact the OUAC or the University.

This is an automatic scholarship. All eligible students are considered for this award and will be notified if they have been given the scholarship once they receive and admission offer. Although no other application is required for this scholarship, recipients will be asked to submit proof of citizenship of their country.
