The spokesperson of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has revealed that the Board has registered about 20,000 candidates for the 2017 UTME since the registration commenced on Monday 20th, 2017.
However, investigations revealed that some of the candidates in Lagos are unable to register for the 2017 UTME going by the fact that many of the accredited CBT centres are yet to commence registration for the fact that JAMB is yet to give them the access code that will enable them register candidates.
When this was brought to the notice of the JAMB’s spokesperson during a chat with news men, he described this as strange. According to him, he is not aware of any registration centre in Lagos that is finding it difficult to register candidates.
JAMB is expected to register up to 2 million candidates for the 2017 UTME within the specified registration period which is Monday 20th March, 2017 to April 19th, 2017.
