Deadline For Accepting Admission On Jamb Caps

We earlier announced that the deadline for candidates who have been offered admission on JAMB CAPS to accept the admission was November 17th. However, we have confirmed that candidates still has 4 weeks from the moment they were offered admission to accept it.

This information is necessary because we understand that a good number of public universities still released admission lists on November 17th.

This means that these set of candidates offered admission on November 17th but are yet to accept their admission can still accept their admission provided it has not exceeded 4 weeks from the time the admission was given.

This information is specifically for all candidates who have been offered admission for the 2025/2026 session but are yet to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS.

To this effect, all the affected candidates should check their admission status, and those who have been offered admission to any public university should quickly accept and print their admission letters, as failure to do so within 4 weeks of getting the admission will automatically mean the candidate is no longer interested which will lead to the forfeiture of the admission.

Similarly, those offered admission in Private Universities as well as polytechnics, colleges of education, and innovation enterprise institutions should also ensure they accept their admission within 4 weeks of getting the admission.
