FUAM Academic Calendar For 2018/2019 Session

The Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM) Academic Calendar for the continuation and conclusion of the 2018/2019 Academic session has been published. This is to inform all students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM) that the academic calendar for the first semester and second semester for 2018/2019 academic session has been released.

1st Semester

1. Sunday, 28th July, 2019 – All students return to campus
2. Monday, 29th July, 2019 – Registration for all students/
3. Friday, 9th August, 2019 Orientation for fresh students (2 weeks)
4. Monday, 12th August, 2019 – Lectures (10 weeks)
5. Friday, 18th October, 2019 to Monday, 12th August, 2019 – Late Registration (1 week)
6. Friday, 16 August, 2019 to Friday, 16th August, 2019 – End of Add/Drop of Courses
7. Monday, 21st October, 2019 – Revision (1 week)
8. Friday, 25th October, 2019 to Monday, 28th October, 2019 – Examination (2 weeks)
9. Friday, 8th November, 2019 to Saturday, 9th November, 2019 – 1st Semester Break (1week)
10. Friday, 6th December, 2019 – First semester results to be ready for consideration by all Departmental Boards (4 weeks after Exam)
11. Friday, 20th December, 2019 – First semester results to be ready for consideration by all College Boards (2 weeks)
12. Friday, 10th January, 2020 – First semester results to be ready for consideration by Senate Committee on Exams (1 week)
13. Thursday, 16th January, 2020 – First semester results to be ready for consideration by Senate (1 week)

For all Semesters

1. Draft examination time table should be released at least 4 weeks and final time table should be released two weeks before commencement of examinations.
2. Remedial, General Studies, and first year courses should be scheduled to come up early during examination period.
3. All examinations must be marked and results submitted within three weeks after they had been taken
