JAMB has denied the rumour that debunked Senate has passed a bill directing JAMB to award extra extra 40 marks to candidates.
According to him, there is no bill anywhere like that, even a motion has not been brought before the two chambers of the National Assembly concerning the conduct and the performance of candidates in 2017 UTME.
“He called on candidates to disregard these funny rumours and connotations concerning UTME results.
He mentioned that JAMB will not even consider doing anything like that as that will go against the ethics and the integrity of an examination body as critical as JAMB.”
It added that the board’s major concern had always been to ensure that cheating during and after examination were reduced to zero level, and this, he said, the board had to a great extent achieved.
