JAMB May Still Cancel Released Results Of Candidates For Malpractice

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has disclosed that through scrutiny of what transpired during the 2017 JAMB is exam is still going based on the footage of the CCTV cameras.

This was disclosed in a statement yesterday in Lagos by Head of Media, Joint Admission and Matriculation board (JAMB) Fabian Benjamin.

According to him, JAMB is still taking time to detect where malpractices occurred and where irregularities are found, the candidates involved will be sanctioned for malpractice even if the results of such candidates have been released already.

“Those who know they were involved in any acts inimical to our examination ethics should not celebrate as their inglorious days of punishment will soon surface.” He stressed.

Before now, JAMB Registrar. Prof Oloyede disclosed that over 10,00 candidates were arrested in Anambra State for various forms of examination malpractice during the JAMB exam. He said the arrested candidates have been handed over to appropriate authority.
