JAMB Result for 2019 UTME To Be Out This week

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has disclosed that candidates can start checking their JAMB results for 2019 UTME as from April 29th, 2019.

This was disclosed by the Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr Fabian Benjamin, while speaking to newsmen in Bwari on Saturday.

According to him, JAMB is still screening the UTME results but hopefully, anytime from next week, the results will be out.

He stated that though the results were expected to be released within 24 to 48 hours as it was in 2017 and 2018, the board does not want it to be business as usual; which is the reason it was deliberately delayed so that the results can be properly scrutinized an all forms of  malpractice addressed.

The board equally advised all candidates to disregard the various method to check results being circulated online as the board has provided another means of checking results in order to avoid extortion of candidates by business centres and Cyber cafes.

How To Check 2019 JAMB UTME Results

• Candidates are to send “RESULT” as a text message (SMS) to 55019 using the phone Number that was used for registration
• After sending the message wait for a few minutes
• Your 2019 JAMB result will be sent back to you as a text message (SMS).

The board, while regretting all inconvenience caused in the process, reaffirmed its commitment to providing equal opportunity to all candidates in order to articulate their aspirations.
