The Registrar of the Joint Admission and matriculation board has directed all 2017 JAMB candidates who need to correct issues like change of course/institution, correction of name, date of birth, state of origin, gender etc to visit any JAMB owned centres for correction.
He said that the correction of data is still going on and has not been closed. He made this known yesterday at a news conference in Abuja yesterday.
According to him candidates do not need to pay extra money to make corrections on their data. The only money they need to pay is the initial N2,500 which is paid to the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
“At JAMB offices, they have been told to do the correction free once you have paid through TSA. Even the printing for you should be free.”

He further mentioned that those that do not have time to do that now can do it next week or next month.
However, we advise candidates to ensure they do their corrections as soon as possible to avoid rush at the last minute since no one knows exactly when it will come to an end.
