FULOKOJA Expels A First Class Student And 12 Others

The management of the Federal University, Lokoja (FULOKOJA) have disclosed that it has expelled 13 final year students, over alleged leakage of question papers during the second semester examination in November last year.

According to report, the students, all from the Economics Department, purchased the exam questions paper from a driver who worked in the department.

One of the students was said to be on the verge of bagging a first class with a cumulative grade point of 5.0.

The VC of the university said that the affected students have been given the right of appeal if they are not satisfied with the decision of the University Senate which approved their expulsion adding that the university had done proper investigation before arriving at the decision.

It was also gathered that the university is also investigating to fish out other staff who may have been involved in this.
